STRATEGY BOARD GAME: In Botanik, you’ll compete against a friend to create a network of plants and machinery in order to save a bizarre world! This fun two-player game takes place in a fun and weird universe.
TILE PLACEMENT GAME: Two players collect tiles and create their own machine. To retrieve a tile, first you need to put it on your side of the Registry, a common market for both players. But to add a tile to your network, you need to release it from the Registry, by putting a new tile in play
TIGHT TWO PLAYER GAMEPLAY: To play a tile you will pick one form the central market, but you must replace it with another. Plan carefully and you can set yourself up for great plays while disrupting your opponent.
EASY TO LEARN: Botanik’s rules are simple to learn but the game takes time to master. The strategy comes from choosing tiles that are both optimal for you and harmful to your opponent. Game is highly replayable as players improve their skills.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: Botanik is a tile placement game for 2 players ages 10 and up. Average play time is about 30 minutes.
