Camel Up (2nd Edition) is a fun racing and betting board game designed by Steffen Bogen. Players find themselves in the middle of an exciting desert camel race, where they do not control the camels directly but instead try to correctly predict which camels will finish the race in first and second place.
The core mechanism of the game revolves around betting and predicting race outcomes. Throughout the game, players assess the current situation on the track and try to determine which camel has the best chance of winning. Early bets are usually more rewarding, but they also come with considerably greater risk.
Camel movement is determined by a unique pyramid that randomly releases dice. Each die represents a camel and determines how many spaces it will move. One of the game's most distinctive features is that camels can land on top of one another and then move together as a stack. A camel carrying others on its back unintentionally helps its rivals, which can cause the race standings to change dramatically in a single move.
Camel Up delights players with its fast pace, simple rules, and abundance of funny and unpredictable situations.
Camel Up (2nd Edition) is an entertaining and exciting racing game that combines betting, humor, and unpredictable camel antics to create unforgettable gaming moments. 🐪
