The evangelists report that at the Last Supper, besides Jesus and his apostles, many more people were present.

It is believed that some of them were in the same room, and the rest distributed around the house.

For only a few days earlier Jesus was surrounded by a great crowd in Jerusalem, and many disciples went to the dining room on Mount Zion to celebrate the Passover feast, the highest feast in Judaism.

In Ierusalem, Anno Domini you embody several communities of disciples of Jesus, who have come from the surrounding villages and cities according to Jerusalem.

You want to participate in the Last Supper and sit as close as possible to Jesus and his apostles.

For that, you play cards and collect resources. Your goal is to send as many of your own disciples as possible to the Last Supper.

The closer they are to Jesus and his apostles, the more points you get at the end of the game.

The main element of this game is the cards and the order in which you play them.

Each map shows the symbol of one of the five places in and around Jerusalem.

By playing the cards you form a set of these symbols. With the right sets, you can put Apostle at the table of the Last Supper.

That also brings you advantages. At the same time, you also want to plan the actions you make possible with the cards so that you can gather the right resources at the right time and send your disciples to the Last Supper.

What makes the game special/Why does it appear at Stromann Games: the religious theme is addressed here historically and creates the difficult page: it is not in any way "missionary ", but also does not hurt religious feelings. The game is designed to embed a gaming experience in a story we all know and the connection that everyone has with the theme is their personal business. The theme is beautifully woven into the game and permanently present in many components. But also playful Ierusalem: Anno Domini has a thing or two to offer. We direct our actions through a map mechanism and gradually try to place our disciples pointwise at the Last Supper. At the latest here, the game also includes a decent portion of interaction.
