Valeria: Card Kingdoms – 2nd Edition is a fast-paced fantasy card game in which players take on the roles of Dukes and Duchesses of the Kingdom of Valeria. The land is threatened by monstrous creatures, and the aging king is too weak to defend it, so players must recruit citizens, expand their domains, defeat monsters, and gain enough influence to become the next ruler of the realm.
The game’s mechanics revolve around rolling dice and building a personal card engine. With every dice roll, specific citizens in all players' kingdoms are activated, keeping everyone engaged even when it is not their turn. By gathering gold, strength, and magic, players gradually recruit new citizens who provide increasingly powerful abilities and stronger combinations of effects. During their turns, players decide whether to slay monsters for rewards and victory points, purchase domains that grant unique powers, or expand their pool of citizens to generate resources more efficiently. The variety of card combinations and the random selection of available citizens ensure that every game feels a little different.
The game will appeal to players who enjoy creating card synergies, steadily building resources, and experiencing the growth of their own kingdom.
Valeria: Card Kingdoms – 2nd Edition is an excellent family and hobby game that combines simple rules, satisfying engine-building, and an engaging fantasy theme into a fast and highly entertaining experience. ⚔️
